Carrie Meng is a recent graduate of the University of California, Riverside with a B.A. in English and East Asian Studies. She has worked previously at The Brookings Institution and The Press-Enterprise and has experience in marketing and journalism. Carrie enjoys travelling and recently returned from a three-week trip to Hong Kong and Taiwan. She has joined Kambrian as the new Marketing Manager.

As the new school year approaches, plans to modernize the E-Rate Program are underway. Over the next few years, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) aims to:
- Close the Wi-Fi gap in schools by providing $2 billion in reserve funding, including $1 billion for wireless technologies, with another $1 billion over the next fiscal year.
- Maximize existing funds by streamlining the structure for E-rate funding requests and increasing transparency.
- Process applications faster and more equitably.

Microsoft support for Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2003 R2 will end on July 14, 2015.
HP is slowly transitioning from previous carepack support to new Foundation Care. The key change is that Collaborative Care will now be included as a standard option with Foundation Care.
